SLU offense continues to falter in loss to Dayton as turnovers pile up once again
The Billikens are now last in A-10 conference games in average turnovers
Despite all that went wrong, Saint Louis University was given an abundance of chances to take Friday night’s game from Dayton if only its offense didn’t self-destruct time after time in the second half.
The Billikens dug a big hole with scouting report mistakes combined with Dayton’s ability to make 10 straight shots in the first half.
As has often happened, they scraped their way back into the game but this time the mistakes were just too plentiful to get over the hump in a 71-63 loss to the Flyers at sold out Chaifetz Arena.
