SLU coaches visit incoming transfers 'on their turf' to forge relationships, reenforce commitments

One day, Zak Boisvert is posing for a photo with Brady Dunlap at a Knicks playoff game. The next he’s hanging with Paul Otieno on the Quinnipiac campus in Connecticut. Then he was off to Boston to see Dion Brown.
The Saint Louis University assistant coach documented all of the visits in the last week on Twitter. They were like recruiting trips made after the catch had been made.
Other SLU assistants have traveled to see the team’s other transfers. It’s about relationship building and strengthening commitments to the half dozen newcomers, who have signed the necessary documents to attend SLU.
