This is the third and final in a series of stories from an interview with Robbie Avila. Today he talks about what he expects next season and beyond.
Although he has yet to step onto a court with SLU’s six transfers, Robbie Avila is starting to get an idea of what to expect playing with a new group of teammates and he likes the possibilities.
In his first season with the Billikens, the roster didn’t develop in the manner that was hoped, leaving Avila (also Isaiah Swope) on more of an island sometimes that he would have liked.
SLU needed more playmakers but Kellen Thames was limited until being shut down, Josiah Dotzler was injured and Amari McCottry wasn’t ready for a major role.
