Fifth-year player has been slowed by knee and heel injuries
The recent surge by the women’s basketball team hit a roadblock Saturday at Duquesne, but one development within the game was a hopeful step for the final stretch of the season.
Peyton Kennedy, who has been battling a painful heel injury since December, was able to play 24 minutes, score 19 points and find her 3-point shooting touch.
The hope is that Kennedy can build toward more time and production as the Billikens approach the Atlantic 10 tournament.
