There can be skill diversity in many areas of basketball whether it’s a scorer being able to make shots at three levels or a rebounder getting boards by going over opponents or chasing them down or executing a perfect block out.

Max Pikaar showed Saturday night there can be versatility in shot blocking in Saint Louis University’s 78-57 win over Williams Woods.

Getting his most extended playing time of the season, the 6-11 freshman with a 7-3 wingspan blocked five shots in a variety of ways.
