SLU is No. 333 in the country in FT shooting at 64%
After losing by three points at home to Wofford, coach Josh Schertz was not willing to pin the defeat on Saint Louis University’s free-throw shooting despite 15 missed attempts.
He felt there were too many other shortcomings that contributed to SLU’s first and only home loss.
But it can’t be ignored. With respectable free-throw shooting SLU would have won, and the same goes for the loss at Grand Canyon.
