To fully understand why Hannah Larson decided to play one more season for Saint Louis University, she has to take you to church.
That’s one of the places the Saint Louis University soccer player began her college life, lying on the floor and sobbing at an altar.
And it’s where Larson continues to seek guidance after a decision-making process that was filled with prayer that she says answered all of her questions.
The simple story is that the Columbia, Mo., native has opted to use her sixth and final year of eligibility to play for the Billikens in fall 2025. Her hope of playing in the National Women’s Soccer League was delayed at least a year by the lack of an offer.
