Josh Schertz uses an NBA inspired system for players to prepare
Note: Behind the Scenes will be an occasional look at random unseen morsels of information about SLU sports that are fun and intriguing.
The pregame routine starts with a Josh Schertz afternoon nap in a room at Chaifetz Arena reserved for the Saint Louis University coach to grab 20 minutes of rest.
For the players, it begins 90 minutes before tip-off and involves a format Schertz instituted when he arrived at Indiana State.
