After a lot of missed years, Schertz brothers reconnected to provide each other unconditional support

Josh and Michael remain different but have grown into tight relationship

Differences seemed to be baked into the relationship of the Schertz brothers from the moment Josh and Michael picked opposing sides in the family’s support of New York professional sports teams.

Josh Schertz had the Yankees, Knicks, Rangers and Giants. Michael opted for the Mets, Nets, Islanders and Jets.

Certainly not a coincidence.

“Josh and I were very different kids,” Michael Schertz said. “Polar opposites. Into very different stuff.”
